In response to Nitin Gadkari's comments on the Majhi Ladki Bahin scheme, Pawar expressed his intention to discuss the matter with Gadkari upon returning to Mumbai to understand the basis of the statement. Addressing a large gathering in Majalgaon, Beed district, Pawar emphasized the government's commitment to overall development and urged support for the Mahayuti alliance in the upcoming elections. He reiterated the government's dedication to secular values and inclusive governance, citing the inspiration of historical figures such as Shivaji Maharaj, Mahatma Phule, Shahu Maharaj, and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Pawar also highlighted the Jan Sanman Yatra initiative aimed at promoting awareness of government schemes, including the Majhi Ladki Bhagin Yojana providing financial assistance to women, free education for girls, waivers on electricity bills for farmers, and other welfare programs. Furthermore, he mentioned the subsidy on milk, increased honorarium for various community leaders, and support for agriculture through crop insurance schemes.He stated that if the Mahayuti receives support in the upcoming elections, all these programs will be ongoing for the next five years.
